Chidi Anukwuem, MD, is the founder and lead physician at Lifestyle Change Trends, located in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
For nearly 25 years, Dr. Anukwuem has been working with clients from all over New Jersey, providing weight loss, medical aesthetics, and wellness services. Originally from East Hanover, New Jersey, Dr. Anukwuem started Lifestyle Change Trends to provide one-on-one consultations with his Old Bridge clients. Through this individualized care, Dr. Anukwuem can offer the best possible weight management and aesthetic solutions for his patients.
Dr. Anukwuem attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Anukwuem received his bachelor’s degree in health sciences and attended medical school at the Obafemi Awolowo University College of Health Sciences (formerly the University of Ife) in Nigeria. He then relocated to the United States and completed his residency in internal medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in New York City, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association (formerly the American Society of Bariatric Physicians).
Dr. Anukwuem is fluent in English and Igbo, making him accessible to a diverse clientele. During his consultations, he gives each patient his focused attention and is deeply committed to their well-being. He takes the time to thoroughly explain his patients’ conditions and assist them in choosing a suitable treatment plan.
